Windblown Leaf Earrings

Light and breezy, these earrings are inspired and sketched from real leaves and formed in solid 22 karat gold, using chasing and repousse techniques that give movement and dimension.  Fabricated one at a time, no two leaves are exactly alike, just as in nature.  The richness of 22k gold is beautiful for a special event, wedding or when you just want to feel special! Or choose your option with stationary or loose dangle ear wires in .999 fine silver, vermeil or 22K gold with dangle or stationary ear wires. 

Each one starts with a flat sheet of gold, leaves are drawn on a sheet of metal, using a variety of tiny punches, the shape of the leaf is formed, first from the back (repousse). It then gets flipped over and more detail is added from the front (chasing). It is a long process that can take several days, moving from back to front to refine the shapes.

Due to the handmade nature of the earrings, each one will be slightly unique and may vary slightly in size from the photos. Leaves measure 1 inch long and 1/2 inch wide. Each pair has a soft brush finish with polished highlights.
