My jewelry is made to order, entirely by me, by hand, in my Princeton, NJ studio, and will take approximately 14 - 21 days, unless it is an item in stock.   In stock pieces ship in 1 - 3 business days.  I will notify you immediately if the piece will take longer for any reason.  Please email me if you would like your piece as a RUSH order.  

Most pieces can be customized, just email me your request and I'll get back to you promptly. We can also meet via Zoom to discuss your project.

Please note, the majority of gemstones in today's market have received some kind of treatment - a widely accepted practice in the industry. They are natural stones unless otherwise stated.


If you require your order to be delivered by a certain date, please indicate that in the notes section of your order.  Please contact me for rush orders at nancy@nancytroskejewelry.com  Orders are shipped UPS for Domestic and International, please notify me if you have another preference.  You will receive progress reports on pieces made to order and tracking information when your order ships. I stay in close contact with you as I am designing and making your jewelry and often send photos of the work in progress.

I use UPS or FedEx for domestic shipping to locations within the  Continental United States, U.S. territories, including Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, and the US Virgin Islands in addition to Canada. 

International shipping besides Canada, is  UPS or DHL to most countries with certain exceptions.  If you have a question or concern about shipping to your location, please feel free to email me.

Please note that UPS will not deliver to P.O. Boxes

Custom made orders will be shipped according to the delivery estimate provided in the quote.  

International orders:  Customers are responsible for all duties required by your country.  UPS will usually collect this amount upon delivery, along with a required signature.

Your piece will be carefully packed in for shipping and will arrive in a gift box.  Gift wrapping is available at no extra charge.  There will be no indication of the fact that there is jewelry in the box or its value. The return label will simply say “Nancy Troske” or "NLTLLC."  In the unlikely event the piece is damaged in shipping, this must be handled through the shipping agent with an insurance claim. Always be sure to retain all original packaging if a claim is to be made as the shipping agent will request to examine it.

If you don’t love your piece, please contact me for a return authorization (RA) within 3 days to let me know you want to return the item. For a refund, it must be received by me within 1 week of the day you contacted me. Many times we can work out an exchange or small adjustment to the piece. Item must be in original packaging, have a RA  and be in the same new condition as received. UPS is my preferred carrier of choice for returns. You pay return shipping. Refunds are for the purchase price only; shipping charges will not be refunded. You will receive your refund in the same form of payment used to place your order, less the cost of shipping which will be deducted from your refund. Full refunds will be issued up to 30 days after receipt of item.  Any returns after that time will receive store credit only.  

Custom Order items are not returnable. However, your satisfaction is my aim and I will work with you for a one-time exchange for a comparable piece. Usually a ring can be sized up or down a half size & there will be a charge of $65 if you find you have ordered the wrong size; once sized it is not returnable.  Right hand and left hand ring sizes are usually not the same. If you are not sure of your size, I am happy to send you a complimentary ring sizer, calibrated to my tools (yours to keep). 

If a Custom Order item is cancelled for any reason before shipping and the piece has been made store credit only will be issued.
Please note, computer screens, handheld devices, smart phones and monitors can vary color; this can make a gemstone look different than in the actual piece. Feel free to email me if there is a problem, perhaps we can resolve it together before sending it back.

What is PCI DSS Compliance?

The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is an information security standard for organizations that handle credit card and debit card information. Defined by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council, the standard was created to increase controls around credit card data to reduce credit card fraud via its exposure.
