Positano Turquoise and Diamond Earrings

One of a kind earrings inspired by the turquoise waters of Positano, the most beautiful of the Amalfi Coast villages.  These 22 karat, turquoise and diamond earrings capture the clear azure colors and sparkle of the Mediterranean Sea.

The ancient Romans, along with other ancient cultures, prized turquoise not only for it's beautiful color but for its healing properties as well;  it was considered a symbol of wealth and well being.  

Turquoise is thought to cleanse the body and replace negativity with strength and energy; it’s a symbol of protection and relaxation and known as the "purification stone." Turquoise has a strong connection to the throat chakra and is said to align all the chakras.

Solid 22 karat gold earrings have small, rounded rectangle turquoise with .08 carat (2.7mm)  white diamonds.  Turquoise are 9x4 mm.  Earrings have 18 karat gold ear wires and hang about 1/2 inch below the earlobe. They have a brush finish with a slightly hammered texture around the bezel.
