This collection of tourmaline solitaire rings was inspired by some of my favorite London parks. Each stone is set in a 22 karat gold bezel on a wave textured 18 karat gold band. Tourmalines are one of the few gemstones that can be found in rainbow of colors. Part of their beauty is that they are "pleochroic." Pleochroism is an optical phenomenon in which a mineral has different colors when observed at different angles, especially with polarized light. Tourmalines have been said to open the doors of perception and enhance intuition. Makes a beautiful stacking ring.
Stone is a 6 mm round, rubellite tourmaline.
