Rock crystal is actually quartz crystal in its most colorless and transparent form. In antiquity it was thought to be a form of ice. It was used in ancient times for more than jewelry. It was carved into tools, drinking vessels and protective talismans in many shapes.
This ring features a rose cut rock crystal cabochon set in a 22k gold setting with granulated accents, fine silver back sheet. It sits on a half round band, tapered at the bottom for extra comfort. The natural, rose cut rock crystal is 14mm x 10mm.
