Falling Leaf Stacking Rings - set of three
Tiny 22k gold leaves are created using the ancient art of granulation and fusing. Each leaf has been shaped in gold wire and placed on a gold sheet. Once formed, the leaf is set on a 2 x 2 mm hand rolled .999 fine silver band. Nestled between the leaves is a .5 point white diamond that's been set in a 22k gold tube setting. Finished with a subtle matte pebble texture.
Granulation takes years of practice using the purest of metals. Each wire of the leaf is set on a pure 22k back sheet. The piece is then heated almost to the melting point. At that precise moment, the wires fuse and become all one piece.
