Atmosphere Teardrop Pendants in 22K

These atmosphere inspired pendants are echoes of the distant past are brought to life in a classic teardrop gemstone, set in a 22 karat gold hand granulated setting, it will become your go-to necklace for an everyday or special occasion
piece.

Each cap is hand fabricated and embellished with a circle of granulation. Granulation is an ancient technique, mastered by relatively few goldsmiths. It takes years of practice using the purest of metals. Each tiny granule is made by hand, and making enough for one piece of jewelry can take weeks. Each granule is placed one by one using a tiny brush. The piece is heated almost to the melting point. At that precise moment,
the granules fuse and become one with the item being granulated. The technique is evident in museum collections featuring ancient jewelry.

The 22 karat gold is my special alloy, giving it a purity of 98% gold. Sheet and wire is made by hand from this alloy for fabrication. All granules are hand crafted as well.

Suspended on a diamond cut 14k Italian chain with lobster clasp (shown in group photo), to  add a touch of sparkle. Great for layering.

Dawn is a one of a kind hand-carved watermelon tourmaline; pink to the tip, which then becomes a tint of green.

Dusk is a faceted carnelian with bands of pale or red agate.

Storm is a shimmering, green labradorite with flashes of purple.

All stones are hand picked for interesting color variations and patterns and will somewhat differ from photos.
