For the ancient art lover, this scarab is a modern reproduction of an ancient Egyptian scarab ring. These hinged scarab rings rotate to show the front and back of the scarab, just like the ancients wore them. They wore them for good luck and immortality. I can't promise it will bring you immortality but it could bring you good luck!
Scarabs are made for me in Egypt from hand carved soapstone, with an individual hieroglyphic design on the bottom, no two are alike. The ring is made from pure .999 silver with a heavy 24k gold plating (vermeil).
