Rooftop Garden II - 22k and Silver Wedding Ring

A new version of this design. Rosettes of pure 22k gold blooms and tiny leaves on a silver base in this contemporary version of granulation. This ancient art takes years of practice using the purest of metals.

Each tiny granule is made by hand and making enough for one piece of jewelry can take weeks. The granules are placed one by one on the piece with a tiny brush. The piece is heated almost to the melting point. At that precise moment, the granules fuse and become one with item being granulated. If you look at museum collections featuring ancient jewelry and you’ll recognize this stunning decorative technique.

This ring is 10 mm wide and 2 mm thick. Each ring is made to order and can be customized in widths from 5 mm to 10 mm.   Sizing is not possible after the ring is made, I will mail you a sizing tool (yours to keep) to insure proper fit.  Available in whole and half sizes from 6 to 12. Fabrication time includes the time to mail the sizer, if you have a ring size measurement from a wide measuring tool the ring can be made in about 2 weeks.
