Carnelian was favored by ancient goldsmiths. It was often seen alongside turquoise and lapis lazuli. Egyptian Pharaohs revered carnelian and believed it brought them luck and protection. This ring features a dazzling, bright orange, rose cut carnelian, set in a pure 22k gold bezel on a pure .999 silver back sheet. It’s garnished with a 22k gold twisted wire on a low dome sterling silver band. The rich yellow gold paired with the rich orange of the carnelian is a perfect combination. The stone measures 10 mm, band is 6 mm wide. Signed on the back by the artist.
