Ancient Roman Constantine the Great Coin Necklace

This ancient Roman Constantine the Great coin is one from my own collection of Roman Imperial coinage and dates back to about 307 - 337 A.D.  During his reign Christianity began to transition to being the dominant religion of the Roman Empire. Found in a hoard, it has survived the centuries and has a beautiful, green patina.

Coins were often buried in antiquity for safekeeping and for whatever reasons, their owners never came back for them.   In modern times they are found in hoards.  New ones are found frequently, especially in Britain. Wouldn't you just love to know the stories this coin could tell?

Your coin may vary slightly from the photo.

Set in solid 22 karat gold in an ancient inspired design with an open back to  display reverse side.

Includes 18 inch Italian chain with lobster clasp.

If you have your own coin or would like a different one, please feel free to email me.

Please allow 14 - 21 days for fabrication.
