Branches Tanzanite Ring

Tanzanite was discovered in the hills of Northern Tanzania by Masai tribesmen and remains the sole source of tanzanite to this day. An extremely desirable gemstone, it can show two colors; blue and violet, depending on the way the light hits the stone. This hand picked stone is an unusual free-form faceted cabochon. You will know this stone is completely natural, as you can actually see the crystal formations inside it. In the trade they are called character characteristics and add to the unique beauty of the stone.

The  rose cut, freeform Tanzanite is set in a 22K gold bezel on a one-of-a-kind band. Using the ancient technique of granulation, but with a modern twist, delicate branches of 22k gold embellish a wide, silver band. The silver has a slight pebble texture and a soft brushed finish.

As of Dec. 2021, Tanzanite and other gemstones have very limited supplies due to Covid and supply chain issues.
