Summer is captured in this hand sculpted Hibiscus flower is created in pure .999 fine silver using the ancient art of chasing and repousse. Each petal is formed with repousse from the back of the piece and chased on the front to give it movement and dimension. The back is left open in the interest of allowing the tool marks from its creation to be visible.
Fabricated one at a time, no two flowers could every be exactly alike. Once the flower is formed, the center is accented with pure 24 karat gold using another ancient process, keum boo. Suspended on a black silk cord it makes a stunning statement necklace for any occasion. Lobster clasp closure.
Made with pure .999 fine silver and 24 karat gold foil. Signed on the back.
